Epsan has announced it is expanding its operations in Western Europe.

Engineering Polymers compounder Epsan recently launched a new sales and technical support center in Lyon, France The new unit is being managed by Richard Quentin who has more than 15 years of experience in the French market, particularly in polyamide, PPA  and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) compounds as well as their alloys.

Epsan France will offer customer training, product demonstrations and be used for hosting customer events.

Epsan, which launched its first sales and support center abroad in Dortmund, Germany in January 2014, manufactures a range of compounds including PA 6, PA 6.6, PBT, PET and polyphthalamide (PPA) at two plants in Bursa, Turkey.

“The new office shows our commitment to grow our business in Europe with the automotive and electrical and electronic (E & E) industries with direct communication, technical support and sales,” the company explained.

Epsan, originally founded in 1976, with a total capacity of 45,000 tpa and is continuing to target particularly further growth opportunities and new solutions in the automotive sector.

The company has a worldwide workforce of around 140 and today is selling its engineering plastics compounds to more than 39 countries around the globe with 2 technical centers in Europe
